At Amcare our core services define who we are and what we do. These are the general services we offer; the ones that the majority of our customers use regularly and find invaluable. We deliver the healthcare supplies you need quickly and discreetly, and provide help and advice on the phone, by email, or at one of our local care centres. Prescription service
Our main aim is to give you peace of mind, so instead of worrying about getting out to the chemist and making sure you have enough supplies, simply post your prescription and we will deal with everything promptly and efficiently.
Alternatively, we can contact your GP on your behalf and receive your repeat prescriptions directly from them. That way, we can send out your appliances swiftly when you need them.
Please remember also that Amcare provides this service for products from all manufacturers.
Discreet delivery
All products are delivered to you in unmarked packaging by a regular courier who will be only too happy to take into account any delivery specifications you request.
Amcare junior
Sometimes one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why Amcare has a range of special support items for our very special clients. These items are in addition to the usual Amcare service offering.
Cutting service
Our flange-cutting team can personalise your flanges or base plates to the size and shape you require. All you have to do is mark out the size you need on the measuring template provided and send it to us.
Nursing care
If you are no longer in touch with your hospital specialist nurse or you just need some advice, simply call us and we will be able to put you in touch with a local NHS nurse who will be able to help you.
Care centre staff
In addition to our headquarters in Sunderland, we have 12 local care centres throughout the country. When you phone us to place an order, your call will be taken by a dedicated advisor in your nearest care centre who will understand your individual needs.
